Overview
As part of an infrastructure upgrade near Heathrow Airport, we were appointed to replace an ageing timber access door with a modern, high-performance steel door set.
Scope of Works
- Detailed site survey and technical coordination
- Manufacture and supply of a bespoke steel door set
- Safe removal and disposal of the existing timber door
- Preparation of the structural opening
- Installation, sealing, making good and final testing
Installation
The operational environment required careful planning and coordination. Our engineers prepared the opening, installed and aligned the new frame and door leaf, fitted architectural ironmongery, completed perimeter weatherproofing and carried out functional testing before handover.
Project Outcome
The project replaced an ageing entrance with a durable, low-maintenance steel door set, improving security, reliability and appearance. The works were completed safely, on programme and with minimal disruption.
